How to Buy Bitcoin with Venmo
These are steps to buy Bitcoin using Venmo money.
Phase 1: Register Accounts on Paxful or Vertex
You’re going to need to sign up with Vertex if you don’t already have an account. Vertex is a stable, peer-to-peer trading network that enables you to seamlessly purchase and sell cryptocurrencies.
Simply click the Build Account option in the top menu and enter your details. You don’t need to complete a KYC to exchange on Vertex, but you’ll need to search your email address and phone number. This is fast and simple, and you’re not going to be ready to go in any time.
Phase 2: Check your position
Make sure your password is connected to the United States by testing the top left corner. There is a drop-down option, if it is not set to the United States, pick the option as highlighted.
Step 3: Buy Bitcoin
You sign up, you’re in the right place, let’s buy bitcoin now! Pick the Purchase option in the top menu of Vertex, and type Bitcoin or BTC in the search window. Here you can see all of the Bitcoin deals currently available in the United States.
In the gray menu above the orders, press the arrow next to the Payment Form, which sorts all deals in alphabetical order depending on their payment choice. Scroll down the deals before you find the choices for Venmo (noting there are several pages)
Phase 3: Pick the Venmo Bid

Step 4: Enter the address of your Bitcoin wallet
If you have approved the pop-up to ask if you accept this bid, you will be asked to enter your Bitcoin wallet address.

Stage 5: Complete the order form
You are given 5 minutes to confirm that you would like to complete this bid. During this time, you can change the amount of BTC you would like to buy (grey box) or, alternatively, how much you would like to pay (orange box). Ensure that the order complies with the Minimum and Maximum Order Sums stated above.
Select Continue when you are about to move.
If the bid has been confirmed, it is conveyed to the Vendor and they have 90 minutes to consider it. In the unfortunate case that your bid is not approved by the vendor, it will be closed.
Stage 6: Confirmation
If your order has been authenticated by the Vendor, you will make payment to the account information given directly from your Venmo account to theirs. The Seller must check that the funds have been processed within 24 hours following which the Bitcoin will be released and forwarded to your Bitcoin wallet address. If the money is not submitted within this timeframe, the order will be closed.
In another unlikely case that the Seller appears not to have obtained your money, please contact us immediately with proof of payment (declarations, videos, etc.) and we will deal with the matter with the highest priority.
